Bean Community Research

Joining Our Colleagues for a Field Day in Nebraska

We traveled to Scottsbluff, Nebraska to visit our bean colleagues, including growers, processors, researchers, the Nebraska Dry Bean Commission, and the Nebraska Dry Bean Growers Association. During the field day, Dr. Carlos Urrea, a renowned bean breeder, shared about his team’s research and findings. We are lucky to have such a talented and dedicated bean researcher!
